FAQ
What is a podcast?
A podcast is a pre-recorded audio medium. It can come in many forms: entertainment, education, news, reviews... you name it! [Listless] is primarily geared toward fictional entertainment.
You know listless means sad, right?
We thought the name [Listless] was a good one - to me, at least, it represents our main goal of amplifying voices that may not have been heard before. Of course, when I found out listless was a word for lethargic depression, I just shrugged and muttered, "mood."
Why are the release dates so far away?
This stuff takes time! All of our podcasts are scripted narratives (with the exception of Chad and Death, which is still somewhat scripted!) and take a long time to conceptualise, write, edit, record, edit again, and release! It will most definitely be worth the wait, though.
Why does Alex do so many of the podcasts?
Alex's hubris is immeasurable and even I cannot compete. Besides, he got a hefty headstart - Room 56 has been in the works for at least twice as long as OAB!
Who else is involved?
You can find more cast and crew information for specific shows on their respective pages. There are also tabs for Resources, Transcripts, and Dyslexia-Friendly Transcripts on all released or currently-releasing shows!
