The Quiet era
So - long time no see, huh?
It's kind of awkward that we're meeting again like this.
Put simply, lots happened. The site through which we got our domain (formerly listless.ga; now the far more official-sounding listlessnetwork.com) went down, and with it went our ability to renew the domain - something we have to do annually. As a result, we lost the website.
At a similar time to this, both On Asphalt Bones and The Children of Room 56 went on an indefinite hiatus. Although I cannot attest to the reasons behind the Room 56 hiatus, I can confirm that both shows are still actively recording material.
To receive updates about The Children of Room 56, access the Discord server, and access exclusive content, you can subscribe to The Children of Room 56 on Patreon.
OAB was slated to return at around this point, a year after Episode 9; however, due to extrenuating circumstances, it is still in production. Despite this, we are nearing the completion of recording, at which point I will further update.
Of note, however, is that some shows are still on a clear schedule. Tranthologies, which released to award-winning success last year, is receiving a second season VERY shortly: from June 1st through 30th, we will once again be hearing the voices and stories of our many creatives. I hope you enjoy it, feel it, relate to it - do whatever with it, just make sure that it means something.
Tranthologies Season 2 is currently crowdfunding. To find out more, click here.
Anyhow, welcome back. It's been too long. Let's get this done.
I can't wait to show you all what we've been working on.
'Til next time,
~ Cas.
On Asphalt birthdays
Romans and countrymen, rejoice, for everybody's (a few people's) favourite (more-or-less tolerated) show (listen) is celebrating its first birthday! To the left, you may marvel at the beautiful art that underpins our series, and at the absolute crimes that I have comitted using said artwork. Here's to another year - or at least a few months - of On Asphalt Bones!

The story we wanted to tell
Created by Jaye T., The Story We Wanted to Tell is an exciting new drama podcast about queer life in Modern Britain. Through the lens of eight British queer people, we have The Story We Wanted To Tell. Originally written as a three-act stage play, TSWWTT follows the fresh-faced Lincoln as they find themself - and others - in Queer Corner.
Episode 1 is out now!
who keeps releasing all these podcasts?!
Another debut on this fine day! In celebration of Pride Month, and for Pride Month only, we will be releasing daily episodes over at Tranthologies, beginning with A Boy, His Dog, and the Apocalypse, written by Alex Abrahams!

As of today, with Marky McGuy: Passing in the Past (Part 1), The Unnamed Anthology Podcast is now live! (or, well, releasing, at least)
Be ye in the mood for time-travelling trans men, bisexual knights, eldritch enbies or T4T vampires, we've got it, and we're now open for business!

regarding spotify
As you may be aware, Spotify is currently under fire for its mishandling of COVID-19 Vaccination information, including the continued support of spokesperson and conspiracy theorist Joe Rogan. This is only the most recent in a long list of ethical problems with the company and has been the straw that has broken the camel's back for many podcasters. Unfortunately, due to the sheer size of the platform, as well as the fact that our podcast hosting is tied to their Anchor platform, we are unable to remove our podcasts from their platform; however, we encourage you to seek out and engage with content - be it our own or others - on alternative, smaller platforms. Unfortunately this incident will likely not be the last, but the market speaks; perhaps one day we can all leave Spotify behind.

(anti)social media!
Hey all, a small announcement to say that the Listless Network itself now has a social media! You can follow us over on Twitter and Instagram at @ListlessNetwork for more news and info about the shows you love!
The social media is run by Zoey Davis, who will appear in an upcoming On Asphalt Bones episode, and co-hosted by Katherine Death Andrýsková, who played the Reporter in OAB!
We hope to see you there!

Moving On
Rejoice and be merry! Today is January, which means that the UAP has moved from the WRITING phase to the EDITING phase! We've got pirates, Eldritch horrors, witchcraft, and all manner of things that we can't wait to show - well, narrate, to you!
The Unnamed Anthology Podcast will release throughout Pride Month (June) 2022.

The Lost Episode
The dark powers that be have caused irreparable harm to our recording equipment, rendering Episode 4 of On Asphalt Bones lost. While recovery efforts are underway, we make no promise that this truly evil recording can ever be saved. The creator, the vile beast once known as Alex Abrahams, has been placed into custody, and those involved have been questioned about the incident. The current consensus is that the Fae intended to use this episode to punish all humankind for their transgressions; however, some unknown, powerful force stopped this plan before it could gain traction. Those involved seem to rationalise this incident as a mere "hard drive failure" - I think not. There is something more sinister at play here.

on asphalt bones debuts
After 9 months of hard labour, my baby is finally upon this world - you can now listen to On Asphalt Bones Episode 1: The Judgement Recollections on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and so many more podcatchers! If you'd have told me back in January that I would be releasing an entire audio drama podcast, I wouldn't even have known where to begin, yet (by sheer stubbornness) here we are, and here it is, and I hope you enjoy it immensely!

We are live!
Hey, this is, like, a thing now! [Listless] is live, meaning that all of you lovely folks can see it, and perceive it, and... that's quite a lot to stomach, really. There's not much to say here that you can't find elsewhere on the site, but I really hope you love our content - it's such a labour of love and we are so happy to be able to share it with you.
That's all for now, see you soon!

Dreamcasters join [listless]!
After talking to some friends in the amateur podcasting business, I was approached by one Grey Cyr, creator and director of a show called Dreamcasters (due September 2021). The premise of the show encapsulates exactly the image of the network, especially with the emphasis on esoteric horror podcasting that we currently are taking.
It is for that reason that I am delighted to announce the third show (C&D and TUAP are in pre-production, sooo...) on [Listless]: a warm welcome to the cast and crew of Dreamcasters!
